I wish I would have gotten pregnant under the care of my RE..   I called to make my first prenatal appointment and to get progesterone.. The receptionist didn't want to hear about how many miscarriages I had and how I almost lost my daughter. She said "we only see patients between 6-8 weeks." Then she asked me for my LMP I said "December 15th." the receptionist said "Oh, well you're between 6-8 weeks. We'll make an appointment for tomorrow." Then she sent to the nurse for progesterone. My doctor did NOT put on my file that I need progesterone, I'm upset about that. I explained to the nurse that I had 3 failed IUIs last year and every cycle when I had my progesterone drawn it was low despite taking progesterone. She put in orders for me to get my progesterone and hCG checked. I'm waiting for her to call me back about the progesterone.

When I got my natural BFP I told my RE right away and they treated that pregnancy as if I'd gotten pregnant with them. Have you called your RE's office?

No, but I will right now. I need to be monitored.
What should I say when I call them? I'm nervous because of how rude the receptionist was.

I thinking about saying "I just found out that I'm pregnant. We were waiting to start treatments again because my husband had surgery for his varicose vein.."

After that I don't know what to say?

I'm even more pissed off. I called my RE's office, they will not see me since I got pregnant in my own. They will not give me progesterone either. I wish I could sue if I lost this pregnancy...

I know it's not as good as the prescription stuff, but... Have you checked with a compounding pharmacy? I got progesterone cream there when I went to a herbalist for my fertility issues (anovulation). My body reacted the exact same way on the cream as it did the two times I've been pregnant (nosebleeds and nausea) so I'm pretty sure it works at least somewhat.

TMI, but I just checked and there was more bright red blood so I called the fertility doc's line and reported CD1. Eh, they're letting me skip the first of the cycle blood draws and US since I had them last week anyway, so even if I'm wrong I'll just adjust. Praying for more bleeding! (how sad I am)

You have endometriosis? One of my good BG friends has endometriosis too.. She has one child, everytime she gets pregnant she seems to miscarry. She would need the surgeries and IVF as well. My heart breaks for ladies with endometriosis, my friend seems to be in pain constantly.

I haven't gone to a compounding pharmacy but I'm going to see if I have any in my area. I'm nervous not knowing what my progesterone levels are. The nurse at my OB's office still hasn't called me back about the progesterone. They're treating me like I'm a normal pregnancy when I'm not.

We go in on Wednesday for our IUI!!!!

I completely understand! I would be nervous too! I figure what they have has to be better than nothing though, and may help until you can find out your levels/get a script...
