Nope. It'll be my first time. I've only tried met for a short while. I stopped because it made my stomach really upset.

I took Clomid and it worked the first month. I never had any of the big mood swings they talk about, so I was lucky. It just made me feel "off"

Just back from the fertility doc. I was given a shot of progesterone to bring on AF and will begin Letrozole CD 5. DH had an assay done and we are awaiting all our blood-work reports. I will go next Wednesday for a fasting glucose and hyperinsulinemia testing. Ovaries show PCOS on US, but I'm not typical (not overweight, no excess hair, etc.)... We'll see. Can't wait to get started!

ETA: WOOHOO! They just called and DH count was 196 million!   Good motility and morphology! Guess that's why the one time I ovulated on my own, we conceived. Super sperm here.   Eek! SO excited.

Good luck!!! My ovaries are polycystic also but I don't have most of the symptoms and my hormone levels came back normal. Although I do have issues with Acne. Which has improved a ton since I removed what little sugar and white flour that I did eat. Good luck!!!

Did you try taking the metformin cut in half twice a day then gradually increase? I've heard that works. I know I felt a tiny bit queezy but that stopped after a week or two. Good luck with the Clomid.

CD 1 here! Ugh I was suppose to have an annual and talk with my doc about what was the next step but since my period started I don't know if I should go in or not??? I don't really want to waste the money. If he has something new he wants me to try I would go in but if this month is a no go for anything than I'd rather wait and save my money. I can't believe my period started. grrrrrrrrrrrr I was suppose to go get waxed and have a sexy weekend now I'm on my period. By Saturday it should be light enough where I'll be fine but ugh. I'm grateful it started at 5 weeks which is good for me, but I knew this would happen at the worst time lol

I went to my appointment today. No clomid yet. Since the provera worked, she wants to see if it will tricky body into ovulating. I go back in April and if no baby or cycle, clomid it is.

Your not suppose to break the pill, since it is XR. You would increase your risk for lactic acidosis.
