re: *OFFICIAL* Fertility Treatment Thread (Clomid, IVF, IUI)

My MIL just told me a great RE from the UW clinic she works at is opening a office here in Spokane. I might go and see what they say. We will see. I like my doc and I will stick with him if I get pregnant but he def does not specialize in infertility. I have no clue if I ovulated at all these three cycles. He never mentioned doing a 21 day test.

I'm not really fond of my body but DH loves when I "dress" up. What I usually do is wear this see through tank top with a pair of booty shorts or sexy undies, I put on one of his button up shirts, but don't button it, and then a pair of heels. Do a little dance and strip a little   hope you guys have a great time!!!

I know there was a positive side to being open about our struggle and I'm glad we are. A girl I know (I actually did her wedding photos) told me she's been trying for a year. And said how inspirational and strong my DH and I are. Second couple to tell us that. It really means a lot knowing we can help with advice or just someone to talk to. Random but I had to share.

AF might be on her way. There just a smudge of pink when I wipe! Never thought I'd be so excited for a period to show...lol

Yea it is. It's been 156 days I think. 8/29. But I'm not even sure that was AF because it lasted 3 days and was light and gross like really old blood. I had a period only 2 weeks before that so it could have been a cyst too..idk. But it's making me crazy..lol

It's never not worked for me, but it does usually take 10 or more days after my last pill for AF to come.

Yea she said if I don't start in 10 days or less, I have to be put on something...BUT...
I'm lightly spotting today   I'm crampy too.

Told my boss today, that I have monitoring next friday at 8:15am. Shouldn't be a problem with work schedule because the little one I nanny is in school Wednesday and Friday mornings. I told her that I won't know UNTIL Friday which day I'll go in for our IUI, it could be the 10th or the 11th which is a Monday (Or the next day, whenever I ovulate)

Her response: " Oh yeah..umm... yeah let me know though, because Mondays I really can't, I have meetings that morning" .... um? Really? There's nothing I can do about it. It's based on my body, and it's not like I can tell my egg to release on Sunday instead. I won't hesitate to NOT come in that morning if we have our IUI, she can easily find some help.

I know, I just looked at her, and said "Well, I won't know until Friday" She looked pissed and bothered by it. It really makes me feel belittled.

Seriously, I don't understand her reasoning. She's older, and had trouble conceiving. She never thought she'd ever get pregnant, EVER... and here I am, her nanny to her 2 year old .. and she's giving me a hard time about our fertility treatments. She's aware that I'll be taking the baby with me to work, but say her son is sick... I'd usually go in no questions asked, but with a newborn... that won't be the case!

Maybe she was in a bad mood tonight, I don't know but it really hurt my feelings. I don't know if I should remind her again, or just wait until next friday when I tell her which day our IUI is?

That's true. Thank you   like stressing about my IUI isn't enough, she has to be a pain!!! Ugh!
