Welcome.   There most certainly are women here who have PCOS and have taken/are taking Clomid as well.

My issues are diminished ovarian reserve, repeat early miscarriage and incompetent cervix. I gave up on my ovaries a couple of years ago and am now using embryos created with eggs donated by my little sister. Before we can do another embryo transfer though I need to have surgery to tie off my cervix which will likely be taking place in April.

Welcome!!   I really wish I could help you out, but DH and I are suffering from male factor but like Amelia said, there are some great ladies here that can help you out! Hope you get some answers!

I'm still waiting on AF. Hopefully she will show her face soon. I finished the provera on Friday, so we will see.

My name is Megan and I have three bio kids myself. I have been ttc # 4 for 16 months after a miscarriage. I found out about a year ago I have PCOS and I have tried 3 rounds of Clomid. I will be going into my doc next week to see what my doc says the next step is. I'm guessing a hsg test to make sure my tubes aren't blocked and then Femera. Although I'm not sure if I'm going to take it. I would talk to your doc about metformin. My doc didn't mention so I asked him for it. But it somewhat regulated my periods. 5-6 weeks. It's odd we are the same age and have around the same age of kids. I wonder what happened to our bodies in the last 4 years to make this so difficult??? Everyone in here is so great and supportive. Let me know if you have any questions about Clomid or anything else. I really didn't have very many side effects! Good luck

And basically what she told me is that I've had PCOS but because I started birth control so young and stayed on it (14) that the symptoms didn't present themselves as much. I got pregnant almost right after stopping birth control with each of them.

So far, it seems clomid will be likely. That was depending on my ultrasound and since it was "normal", well..
I'm not sure if they'll give me metformin. My insulin was fine this time.

Bloodwork and ultrasound monitoring set for February 8th at 8:15am!!!!

I never did an insulin test and I'm assuming it would come out "normal". When I had my last u/s the tech said she stopped counting at 35 cyst in my ovary. I have normal hormone function though. I know I have had PCOS all my life. I've never had a regular period and I have mild hair growth and I am within normal weight range. Although I have to really work at keeping it that way. BC makes me crazy!!!!! So I've never been on it for more than a month. I've also started a low gi diet.

My progesterone level was 12.7. They said they wanted it above 15. I think if I'm not pregnant and they think I did not ovulate I'm going to bitch until they do something. I'm not doing this 3 more times only to get numbers under 15 if that's where they want them. Although, I understand that anything under 10 unmedicated is acceptable.

Boo!!! No good! They should at least monitor you with bloodwork and ultrasound. Id be pissed to waste money like that too though!

Day one of injections is down   Wasn't as bad as I thought! Hopefully we are one step closer to meeting our little miracle.
