Do your parents know about Patrick's sperm count? I thought it was a really awkward subject....
I told my mom about DH and she cried... so did his mom. The donor sperm thing is a secret from my parents but Tyler told his mom.

Yes, my parents know about it. My mom is so supportive and my dad has really been a huge help financially.

My inlaws on the other hand, could probably care less since they are all obsessed with my BIL. She said "that's sad" and that was it, my FIL was upset that we didnt want to use my BIL as a donor, like hell no!!!!! They favor my BIL so bad, they have been down to TN 6 times within 2012, but none of them came over to see DH after his surgery while my mom came over, made us dinner and cleaned my kitchen while we were at the hospital. Ugh, sorry... I just can't stand them so I distance myself as much as I can.


ETA: so when you get your bfp what will you tell your mom?

As for your in laws.... wow! I remember you saying that they wanted you to use him as a donor. I think I would have said something to the effect of, "I'd rather pay out the ass for my sperm than have him as the biological father."

Yes, I'll tell my mom probably within a day or two. I'm really nervous because she doesn't know about the IUI and I think she'll be upset I didn't tell her in the first place. This is going to sound really selfish of me but I kinda hope that she'll re-consider moving closer after she hears about the little one. She's really upset she only has seen Jace a handful of times. Long story short, she's finishing her accounting degree in a few months and there's NO jobs where she lives... she needs to consider moving to a more populated area. Plus she hates where she lives.

Definitely. She's lived 16 hours away from us for about 6 years.
I hope she'll be excited.... I'm the oldest of 3 girls... I think we're the only ones that are going to give her grandkids.

That's like my mom too, I'm the youngest of two my older brother isn't involved with anyone, so I'm excited our baby to be my moms first grandchild

The day of your egg retrieval counts as ovulation day. So if you have a 5 day transfer you're at 5dpo.

I've never taken Clomid but I did take Femara with all my medicated cycles. It wasn't successful but that was because of my ovaries, not the drug. I hear Femara has way less side effects than Clomid.
