That is frustrating! I think it's time to find a new RE... It amazes me how some offices treat patients, and how they do things.

Baptism wasn't so bad but there were times when I wanted to run. Like when I was talking to my best friend and her friend will walk up to us with her baby, and our other friend would join us with hers, and then it would be a "lets talk about our baby's sleeping habits" fest. So I thought I could do one of two things : start bawling my eyes out right there and look like a complete fool, or walk away. I ended up saying "oh I forgot something" and walked away. I know that's selfish, but I could feel tears coming.

I can easily talk about baby related stuff with my friend but when it becomes a pow wow, I can't handle it. Luckily, my friend understands.

But other than that, the rest of the day/night was fine, ordering sperm tomorrow   AF due on Saturday.

No it wasn't selfish at all. Selfish would have been to start crying right then and there and make the situation very awkward for everyone. You did the right thing by walking away. Glad the rest of it went okay!

Exactly, I didn't want to make any completely uncomfortable, it's none of their faults lol

I know I'm so excited and nervous. How's everything going with you? I know you explained a couple posts back but any updates?

lol. Still haven't heard from insurance?

Nooooope. I have a feeling this is going to take forever and then of course they'll still say no. I'm ready to go get the surgery like, today. At least I know now that Scott's totally on board with this and he doesn't even want to wait until after I get pregnant to see if insurance will approve it then. We're 100% doing it pre pregnancy, even if we have to self pay. GOD BLESS this man (surgeon) for being so passionate about TAC that he is willing and able to offer such a deep discount for self payers. He is the only one that does.

That's so frustrating to wait!! I hope they get back to you soon! That's really nice of the doctor to give a discount, that's amazing! Did the insurance company say how long til they will let you know?

Oh they've already given me an "answer" lol. When the consumer advocate from Scott's work called them she was able to get me approved to see the peri in Jacksonville for an evaluation but they straight up said no on the TAC, claiming it to be a fertility issue.   They also "cautioned" me about getting one, saying if I did I would have to be on bedrest for the entirety of my pregnancy. This shows their complete ignorance about it because it couldn't be farther from the truth. If I DON'T get the TAC I will be on bedrest for the whole pregnancy, even if I get a regular cerclage. With a TAC I probably won't need any bedrest at all. Dumb.

The surgeon himself is working on it right now. He said to call him last Thursday if I hadn't heard back. I did and left a message but haven't heard from him. I'll call him again tomorrow.

If they don't call me back before tomorrow I am scheduling with a different RE. It may be 2 hrs away to the other one, but this is crazy!!
On a good/bad note I went to get my eyes checked today and they said its glacoma, so I may possibly be diabetic. My eye dr ordered me to have my A1C checked today, so now I'm just waiting to hear about that. I can't believe it takes a eye dr to order that test, when I've been seeing my RE since July and he hasn't done any current blood work since May 2011 when we first went in for a consultation?!

Omg I'm so sorry to hear that. I really hope things work out okay for you!

Hmmm... I wonder if you missed your surge? I'm sorry. I'm right there with you with your frustration.

As for being off your feet all day after IUI, my RE said I can go back to normal activities after the process (after you lay on the table with your legs in the stirups for 15 minutes).

How awesome of them to not be in the office. I think it's time to fire your RE office. That sounds like another month of waiting for no reason.
