Oh they've already given me an "answer" lol. When the consumer advocate from Scott's work called them she was able to get me approved to see the peri in Jacksonville for an evaluation but they straight up said no on the TAC, claiming it to be a fertility issue.
They also "cautioned" me about getting one, saying if I did I would have to be on bedrest for the entirety of my pregnancy. This shows their complete ignorance about it because it couldn't be farther from the truth. If I DON'T get the TAC I will be on bedrest for the whole pregnancy, even if I get a regular cerclage. With a TAC I probably won't need any bedrest at all. Dumb.
The surgeon himself is working on it right now. He said to call him last Thursday if I hadn't heard back. I did and left a message but haven't heard from him. I'll call him again tomorrow.
