Probably... I'm just really hoping the timing works out. I'm nervous that I might have to miss work or worse waste sperm.

I'm already stressed out. I'm working on my bachelor's degree and I'm on financial aid probation. My semester ends at the end of the month and I have to finish at least 12 credits. I've got 10 done, but I have to finish this 3 credit class. I have 3 papers to finish by 1/31 is what it boils down to.

Ugh I HATE doing papers. What is financial aid probation? That is an awful lot to be carrying around at one time.

So on an unrelated topic....

I'm thinking about suggesting to my friend (the one that I told you guys about the other day) that I'm willing to be a surrogate. I obviously have a lot of thinking and considering to do before. But we've been life long friends. I'd love to help her if I can.

We have considered surrogacy lots but it's just too cost prohibitive for us and it would be years of saving before we could begin to afford it.

I can see that it would be expensive for the surrogate. Were you thinking of using an agency? Or did someone offer?

I've had quite a few offers (on Baby Gaga even lol) and a couple of cousins have offered as well, one of them being a perfect candidate. I would avoid going through an agency at all cost because the agency fees alone are ridiculous. Like $40k. My parents offered to pay their compensation but they didn't realize that the compensation is just a small fraction of the total cost. It generally costs about $100,000 for surrogacy in the US but since we have our embryos already and wouldn't use an agency it would be more like $50,000. But still, we can't afford that anytime in the near future. We have also looked at surrogacy in India which is about $60,000 (but less for us since we already have embryos).

I'd really rather just avoid all this and get my vagina hogtied (that's what my friend calls the transabdominal cerclage LOL) and have the baby myself.

Thank you! I think I just turned into a mess there for a minute.   I'm going to call my RE in the morning if I don't get a positive tonight.

I hope you get your positive or everything figured out at least!!!!

I still never got a positive digi and 7 of my answer tests were positive. I got 2 dollar store ones both negative. I gave up I'm on cd 19. We are just trying to have sex every other day. Although we went more than that last week I was just too tired!!!

Do you have to be off your feet all day after IUI?

I never am. I always go straight back to work after iui. Which my job is mainly paperwork

So sick of my re's office!! Grrr! They want me to come in one days 1-3 for a ultrasound and check everything to start another round of injections, but there not in today and today is day 3. There not open on weekends either so how am I suppose to come in when there not there?! I called the answering service and I spoke with a resident and he said he would call and check with the re and call me back. Yeah like there going to come in on there day off to see me. I'm so upset! The resident acted like he could see me today, so maybe something will get done today. I hate waiting!
