Well maybe... I'm really frustrated. I tested again today and it was negative. I bought some cheapies and the test line is dark but not as dark as the control line. My digi is negative. Lots of EWCM....

But here's my predicament. I don't want to wait any longer incase I O'd yesterday or today.... I'm a mess right now.

I'm off tomorrow. I know the spermies can live inside me for 3 days so I'm thinking about going for it tomorrow. Worse case scenario I'm positive tomorrow and I picked a good day. What do you think?

I work the whole rest of the week so I'd have to call in sick to make it. I'm CD 16 today. I typically O on CD 16 or 17.

Unless you get a clear positive I would NOT go forward with the IUI without having bloodwork to rule out having ovulated already. Even with a clear positive, if it feels off to you I would ask for bloodwork or an ultrasound to be sure. I would hate for you to waste a vial on getting the timing wrong.

Can they do blood work to confirm an ovulation?

Can you get in touch with the cryo people? I would start there to find out if the sperm can be safely returned to long term storage. It would make sense that it can, since the portable containers are also using liquid nitrogen to maintain the temp they would have in long term storage. Might have to wait until Tuesday for answers.

Yes, it's just a P4 test (progesterone).

I can't talk to anyone until tomorrow. The cyro guy said the sample is at the appropriate temperature for 7 days so I'm hoping it can be stored again. They charge a $50 storage fee but that's better than re-paying for the sperm.

I think I'm going to test again in the morning. If it's negative I'm going to call advice and see if I can get that test done. I'm really freaking out. I bet my stress is delaying my O. I just really want this to happen.

ETA: The past few months I tracked my O... I O'd on CD 16, then 18, then 17. I'm on CD 16 so I'm willing to guess I haven't O'd yet but my CM seems to be kinda dry.

Keep in mind that your LH tends to go to sleep when you do and doesn't start rising again until you get up, so urine from later in the day or evening will give you a more accurate result.

Yeah you could easily just be too early!

I tested at like 11am (I think I oversaturated my OPK) and I didn't get an accurate read (the line was white). And then again at 1pm. Lines were dark but not positive. Compared to yesterday's test darker.

Maybe I'll test again tonight. I bought more regular tests (not digis). Thanks for keeping me sane, Amelia!
