re: *OFFICIAL* Fertility Treatment Thread (Clomid, IVF, IUI)

Vent- I'm having a rough day today. I found out my cousins wide is pregnant with there 3rd baby. They have a 2 yr old girl and a 1 ur old girl. What really pisses me off is they leave there kids with my 70 yr old grandparents to watch all day while they work. She could afford to stay home and raise her kids but she would rather work and be a prissy snob. I can't understand why people like that ate allowed to have kids?

Yes!! They suck. Anytime I call them, I'm on hold for at least 15 mins. They gave me an estimate for the med costs, but when it came time to place the order my bill ended up being double their "estimate"... I was pissed. I have no choice though about using them unfortunately   end rant lol

He can be (well most of the time he is) a sweetheart. But today he was oober winey while I was stressing out trying to finish a paper.

He is a romantic. But he expects me to sweep him off his feet too... isn't that the guys job? I wanted to bring him to a movie in that outfit tonight but he's now like, "I'm too tired!" wah, wah, wah....

I secretly think my hubby is a woman lol... which is why he has no sperm LOL j/k

This can be a touchy subject. At least she provides for her family... My husband and I work and I plan on continuing to work after our children are born.

I got a phone call about an hour ago from the sperm bank! Kaiser faxed my form over! We're set to go! Just waiting to O

Hey, if you don't mind me asking (not trying to be nosy, just curious) was it difficult to choose a donor? I give you ladies a lot of credit, I am so indecisive that I can't imagine that process of picking the "right" one. Are you given a lot of information on each potential donor? Again not trying to be nosy, just wondering how all of that worked. I think it's an amazing option

DH picked out his top 3, I picked out my top 3 and we chose from there. How we picked our particular one (he was #3 on my list and #1 on DH's list) - we had some serious discussions. We looked at physical traits common to DH as well as an occupation and interest we liked. The one we picked is an attorney and is musically inclined. He's tall (DH is 6'1") and athletic.

I was originally against using donor sperm. I wanted to pursue IVF. But when I found out it was going to cost us about $40,000 for a maybe.... DH and I talked a lot. And he doesn't feel that he has to be biologically involved to be a parent (my son is not his dad biologically but he is more involved than his father). It just seemed like a no brainer.

If there price is too much try freedomfertility.com thats who my RE recommended if the insurance wouldn't cover.

I know ours cover it but i got a letter saying they will no longer cover the repronex, so if i need injections again I guess we will have to try something new

I'm not trying to down her because she works, I'm upset because she leaves her children with my elderly grandparents. They are just too old to be raising great-grandchildren
