Ew that's no fun. I hope you don't have to be on it for too long.

So I'm on my fathers insurance until the last day of my 26th year, or so I thought. I just found out its until I turn 26, and I turn 25 next Wednesday. Talk about crunch time!

But good news... We have 1,500 saved!! Not including our yard sale. And we have decided to take the rest out of my DHs stocks. I figured if we waited until January to start our IVF cycle, we risk giving birth after my birthday when my insurance will expire. So if we can get him in for his surgery ASAP, we can start our IVF sooner.

So looks like we may be starting soon

Extremely close!!!!! That's why we want to start now and take money out of his stocks, which is like a 401k so hopefully they find swimmers!!!

Very exciting though.

And being the person I am, I feel bad for my boss (I'm a nanny) and her busiest month is December (she owns a jewelry store) so I feel like I shouldn't put her in a tough stop when I'll need days off. I'm a people pleaser I need to focus on my life though.

Yep. When we've waited as long as we have for our babies, we just really need to focus on ourselves.

Good! I'm glad others agree. I felt like I was being selfish.

I just realized now that I may have come off wrong when I said we risk giving birth after my 26th birthday and have to pay for the birth. I do plan on getting new insurance after it runs out, I would just rather wait until after I have the baby so I'm not switching doctors etc for a new insurance company.

Yup. Plus the insurance you currently have sounds pretty good.

I'll come back online once LO goes to bed tonight but I have a quick question..

How long do they usually have you on the pill? My phone is dead and LO took off with it so I can't call my RE's office but I looked at my flowsheet on their website, it has me taking the BC for 9 days.

I don't know how long you should be on the pill for a cyst. For my fertility cycles I have to be on the pill for at least two weeks.
