My RE's pharmacy was crazy expensive. My Clomid ranged from $30-$45 when you can get it at WalMart for $10

Mine has their own that they like to use but my RE's office was very accommodating when I requested them to send my prescription to the overseas pharmacy.

Ok, had my ultrasound and the tech said everything looked good. The hearbeat was 143. I am supposed to be 7w2d.
I told her that I had a little bit of spotting and she said that it looke like I should expect some more as there was some blood visible. She said not to worry about and that IVF pregnancy tend to spot more.
Well, anyways when the nurse called she left a message as I missed the call and she said that they saw some growth on the embryo and the gest. sac, but not quiet enough for a week. Unfortunately, the office was closed when I called back. I am a little confused the CRL today was 12.6 mm and when I look online this looks to be at the higher end for early 7w. Well, the roller coaster continues!
Of course I started bleeding quiet a bit this pm and although she warned me I am worrying.

Bleeding in early pregnancy is so scary. It's happened to me in every single one. Will you be able to stay off your feet for a little while?

Not really. I am trying but with a 3 1/2 year old it is difficult.

Popping in for a minute!

Hey ladies!

AF left yesterday. Only about a week until IUI! I'm getting baby fever sooooo bad!!!! The hospital where I work plays newborn educational shows... and guess what my patient was watching (I had to be in there with him for a while). OMG! I can't wait for the next few weeks to be over!

I hope all is well!

Hi Ladies,
I just wanted to give you all an update. I hope all is well with everyone and those that are receiving treatments are progressing as they should be.

Ok, I received a call yesterday from my Primary Care Manager stating that Tricare approved my my referral to the RE of my choice...YAAAAYYYY!! I called the number in which they gave me and BAM....it was NOT the RE of my choice, but another OB/GYN within my local area. WOMP!! So, although the nurse at the RE's office confirmed that they accept Tricare, they actually are outside of Tricare's network. Well, I refused to stop there, so I gave Tricare a call and they gave me a list of RE's that are within their network. I called the RE of my choice and once again, I was disappointed. The nurse suggested that although they accept Tricare, I should go elsewhere because I've had 3 failed IUI's. Her reasoning for this was they prefer patients who have a higher chance of conceiving via IUI and not IVF. Mind you, they don't do IVF, only IUI's. So, I took that as her telling me that they want new patients that needs all of their services done at their office vice someone that they'll have to send elsewhere after diagnosis. I'm thinking that this reason alone is enough for Tricare to approve an "out of network" request. I'm learning early on in this tedious process that there are a lot of money hungry health providers in this world. However, I'm moving on from anyone who gives me a bad "first impression". We can't afford not to.

I have never heard of an RE who turns away people that might need IVF. That would make me uncomfortable to be with that practice anyway. But yay for your insurance coming through! I'm on pins and needles about mine right now. Should hear something in the next week.

I'm really curious (but can't find any conclusive information to make me feel better) about the success rates of IUI. No issues with me and we're using donor sperm. I'm getting really nervous. It's about $500 a cycle (no drugs). I really don't want to be disappointed.
