I thought so too. I kept thinking is IVF even a option for us? Since the shortage of follys. I swear we are both screwed. I don't have enough follys and he doesn't have enough sperm  
Trying to stay positive and hope the injections helped, but its still hard knowing that the injections didn't help grow more.

Wait to see what Gonal-F or Follistim can do for you. I took Follistim for all three of my IUIs. It didn't work for me of course because I have almost no ovarian reserve, but those are the best for ovarian stimulation. Even with my smurffy, smurffy ovaries I got 2-3 follies each IUI cyle with 1/6 of the dose I took for IVF.

Hi ladies  
So we had an appt with our RE today. DH goes on Monday for his CF carrier blood test. RE thinks it is rare that he would also be positive. If he his, an additional step of testing the embryos would be added to our IVF process. Crossing that bridge if we get to it. That said...
We are all set to begin with my next AF! Ordering my meds next week. I'm starting to stress about the med costs but we will figure that out. If all goes the way it should, our retrieval and transfer will be the end of February. Pregnancy test early March. I am trying so hard not to get my hopes up, but it's hard not to.

Thank you so much girl!! I think about you guys all the time as well! I'm stressed and so ready for all of this crap to be over, but I know we are in good hands. Fingers crossed for both of us! We're almost there!!

I know this is it for us! We have waited so long and we are finally gonna be mommys!!  

I have about 50 pages of catching up to do, I had to take a sanity break from all things baby related. How is everyone doing?

Don't be so upset. I know it is such stupid talk but it really only takes one good quality one! You are not out at all for this month!
I only had 3 eggs retrieved with my first IVF and I thought i was out for sure. Well, all three developed into beautiful 8 cell embryos. You just never know!!! Chin up and positive thoughts!!!!

Apparently it is wrong that I don't go out as soon as the baby is born and spend 2k on useless crap.

I rather teach my child things and be their entertainment and not use a tv as a baby sitter.

I am shocked that people feel their infant needs a bunch of toys they can't play or use till they can actually pull themselves up, or reach and roll around.

Ladies on BG loooooove to throw up the "you're not a mom, you don't know" card, so I do whatever I can to avoid it. If I think I might get that response I will preface a post with something like, "Not a mom yet so of course I can't know for sure, but from what I understand...." I'm surprised she got away with implying that you shouldn't TTC if you plan to work. That usually doesn't fly here.

To be honest, I looked at her profile and past posts and wasn't surprised.

But then again, nothing about the under 25 year olds surprise me.
Your life with the no child left behind and damn near free community college and acceptance of whatever you choose to express yourself, must know more than myself. Then again pcos has made me a bitter person. If you actually work hard, and raise that kid on no assistance, then yes you have room to talk.

Popping kids out like puppies doesn't make you a good mother, it just means your fertile and the stupid bastard your with fertile as well. Half of those girls in that thread aren't even with their SO for more than 5 minutes.

But if I plan to work til some point in a office environment? No harm in that, and I would quit mid contract if my child was in danger.
