re: *OFFICIAL* Fertility Treatment Thread (Clomid, IVF, IUI)

No more blood work. My doctor doesn't like doing more blood work once a strong beta is established. So I'll have an u/s on the 15th. It's only two weeks but that seems like forever way.

DH just left for his massage therapy appointment tonight, before he left we went for a walk to the park with the dog and he was asking me when i would get the results. I told him the clinic would call me and he asked me not to answer the phone so that they would leave a voicemail that both of us could listen to when we were together, but they already told me they wont leave results on a message. I told him if he wants to do it together then to stop at the drug store on his way home tonight. He doesn't think a hpt is as "official" as the bloodwork, but i told him the answer wouldn't change from tonight until tomorrow morning. So who knows...if he decides to stop tonight we may have our answer a little sooner!!!

Ohhh I hope he gets one! I like knowing before they call because when it's bad news, I'd just rather be by myself when I find out. I really don't like sharing that moment with my IVF nurse who I can't stand. LOL!

Yeah, i just told him the same thing basically. It's more personal the two of us doing it at home then the nurses telling me over the phone. He just asked me what kind so looks like i'll know in about an hour and a half or so!! Ahh, i'm so nervous now.

Coooongraaaats.   I'm so excited for you!! Haha and you were thinking you were out! Perhaps we have both learned a lesson not to get ahead of ourselves in assuming things about what our babies are or are not doing in there.

I'm thinking back to when I got pregnant with Dahlia.. I don't think I had anymore blood work with my RE after the first two betas. I can't wait for your ultrasound!

No the re wants me to do the trigger shot 36 hrs before iui and he told me not to do it unless he calls first

We did- I'm hoping something worked, but
I doubt it   I have a high uterus and he has low sperm count, so by the time it reached the egg it will already probably be dead

Ah.. I read it wrong and got confused.

I've never done a trigger shot with my IUI's because I end up O'ing on my own. My RE usually has us BD the day I O then we go in for IUI the following morning.
