Um..I've never heard about them doing an ultrasoundwith someone elses name on the pictures/computer. This story seems kinda sketchy to me. They aren't legally allowed to do that..so either your doctor isn't legit..or you're full of it.

I just finished reading the thread from the beginning and I agree with you Anti, Polyphonic Mom and Keebler. There is something sketchy going on. With both of my pregnancies I never heard "I'm positive you're having a girl", both times I got "I'm pretty sure it's a girl, but there is room for error". And I can't see the u/s picture either, but I don't know of any doctor that would leave another patients name on the u/s picture and someone mentioned that the gestation date was different on it too. I think this may be a case of someone pretending to be pregnant, using someone else's u/s pic and then taking it down when others noticed the discrepencies.

I got "it's definitely a boy" both times, but, I had an ultrasound tech, I was 20 weeks, and there was no way either of my boys could have been girls - they took great pains to make it obvious, lol.

My oldest made sure we saw her too. She had her legs open and pulled up when her u/s was done, our youngest tho' was very stubborn and didn't want to change position for us to see. My tech told me that she was 95% sure that we were having a girl (both times, same tech YEAH) but she wouldn't go completely 100% you're having a girl. She always errs on the side of caution tho.

How far apart are your boys Keebler? My girls are 7 and 1 and I get a lot of comments about how big the age differnce is.

Matthew flipped onto his back and spread his legs for the ultrasound. Jonah was in profile with his peep floating as soon as the u/s camera hit my belly. The tech said "Do you guys want to know the gender?" as she was putting the gel on the camera. We said yes, and almost the instant the baby came on the screen, the tech was saying "It's definitely a boy!"

My son Matthew is 13 months old, and Jonah is due on August 25'th, so they'll be about 17 months apart. I've gotten a lot of crap about it, but good-natured crap, lol. My dad got some grief over the age difference between my youngest brother and I - he's nearly 12 years younger than me - so if the comments are bugging you, don't let them! I get along better with the three youngest of my siblings than I do with the one nearest in age to me.

The only comments that irritate me is when someone tells me that I need to try for a boy now since I've got two girls. I just reply no i don't. I like the fact that there is almost 7 years between my girls. Especially when I look ahead to paying for cars, prom, homecoming, college etc.
My sister and I are almost 8 years apart (I'm the baby of the family) and we get along much, much better than my brother and I with our 4 year age difference.

I have four younger siblings, so I know what you mean. Two is good for me. I was happy to find out Jonah was a boy, and I would have been happy to find out he was a girl - either one was fine. I know it's my last child, I'm having my tubes tied, and Jeremy's having a vasectomy. We feel like our family will be complete once Jonah's born.
I think the biggest advantage to having mine this close together (it wasn't planned) is that we're still set up in baby mode, everything's still out and assembled, etc. We're still in the habit of buying diapers, and all the newborn care stuff is fresh in our minds. It's going to be rough for a few years, I think, but my mom swears once they're both out of diapers, it gets exponentially easier. My friend Erin's mom had her two kids 13 months apart, and she agrees. Plus, I told Jeremy he gets to do all the potty-training, so I'm laughing about that.

Well, it seems that the OP dissapeared, so I dunno if there's any point in responding, but I will anyways. Doctor's see hundreds of patients. Male doctors tend to pay less attention to the details than women. He maybe just kept forgetting that it was you that was having the boy or whatever. My doc asked me every appointment almost if it was a girl or a boy. So...yeah, it happens. It kinds sucks, but you aren't special to them. You're just another appointment in their book. (Horrible, I know) And for the record, I found out I was having a boy at 13 weeks with no problems =)

Oh wow... there have been a lot of replies and I had no idea. I had been off of here for a little while and when I have gotten on it never said there was a topic reply until just now. But anyway. I'm highly irritated with people trying to say that I would fake being pregnant on a website... with people I don't even know! Pointless. I went back to my doctor as planned and he had the ultrasound tech do the full scan and she said that this is definitely a boy. We got the 4D u/s done... which looks pretty creepy to me. I'm not sure if I should actually respond to the people saying that I'm "faking". But heck... why not. You can always go tomy MySpace and see new u/s pics and belly pics. Hell, we can even talk on Skype if you really care so much to say I'm not actually pregnant. I'll get on the freaking webcam and show you my (finally) growing belly! lmao. Doesn't matter to me. I just find it funny that some of you are so bored you have to try and start drama. I guess I'm more pissed about this than I should be. But that would be because I was told I could NEVER have children and so was my "other half". So this is a huge miracle to us and it's offensive to hear some one trying to say my child doesn't exist. Think before you speak! -Angela-

I apologize. I wasn't trying to start "drama", but seriously..we geta LOT of fakes on here..and the story just seemed kind of sketchy. And then when you kinda disappeared a little..I was like hmm..okay? lol. But I'm sorry, and congrats on joining team BLUE!

Chill out, Polyphonic Mom and I commented on how it was weird that the picture vanished. How come you deleted it?

Don't you agree that it's a little sketchy/odd that someone would post an u/s pic and then remove it when it's pointed out that the gestation date doesn't match what you've said? That along with your statement that the doctor left someone elses' name on/in the u/s machine is what prompted me to say what I did.
