Yeah, I meant May. I just can't help but worry and feel a little guilty for physically pushing myself so much at work over the months. I would feel like a piece of shit if something was wrong with him due to an early birth that I could have prevented.

I did! He was only 5 lbs, but no ventilator, nothing. Healthy as can be!

well i have 2 due dates.. may 13th ( puts me at 38 weeks..) and May 19th ( puts me at 37 weeks 2 days)... so i think you are further then what she is saying..

I'm just basing the due date off of my instincts, I could be entirely wrong though. Her due date for me is may 28.

I did , 3 actually , #1 was 7lbs 6oz, #2 was 6lbs3oz and number 3 was 5lbs 3oz ! All came home with me the same day.

I was a preemie myself. I was born at 32 weeks and came out just fine. I stayed in the hospital for a week after I was born bc they wanted me up to 5 lbs. That was almost 24 yrs ago so with ALL the advancements they've made since then I know your baby will be just fine. Good luck!

hi, dani! oh, mama- don't worry. i'm sure that little guy is just perfect in there. of course i haven't had any yet as you know, but just wanted to encourage you- i know a number of moms who have given birth this early (or earlier) and had happy healthy babies! i don't know ANY moms who have had bad experiences at 36 weeks. most recently, a daughter of a friend of my mom's (whew that was a lot to say haha) had her little girl VERY early- i think somewhere between 28 and 32 weeks (not positive)- because she had preeclampsia. baby was tiny but just fine. i just know that things will work out perfectly for you!  

I had my little girl at 27 weeks so just think you have 9 weeks on us LOL.Odds are in your favor for no complications at 36 weeks.

i had Drew at 33 weeks. He needed oxygen and was in NICU for 2 weeks. Went home on heart monitor. He is 9 months now and off the monitor and is very healthy.

Its scary to think you may have a preemie. I thought oh my god will my baby be okay. My daughter was born at 28 weeks. She weighed 2lbs 10.7ounces. Now she is a month and almost 5lbs. Right now she weighs 4lbs 14.1ounces.If my little Gabby Wabby made it your baby will too. Gabby is coming Home already! Your baby may not spend as much time in the NICU like my baby did. My daughter was born March 18. Don't worry your baby will be fine just put him in Gods hands, that's all you really can do. But i will pray that your baby doesn't come yet.

I had my first son at 35 weeks (actually 34 weeks 6days) and he was fine, I did NOT get any steriod shots for his lungs either (I had preclamsia (sp?) and he left the hospital when I did  
So I think your baby will be just fine   Good Luck
