Dr. Phil is hot

Ok but seriously, today's show is about a father who is now a mother. Gender reassignment. The kids are so upset and horrified.

What would you do if your mother or father became the opposite sex? I would be shocked, but I love them so I have to accept them.

I still have trouble with gender reassignment to be quite honest. Its hard for me to grasp the idea of someone feeling like they are inside the wrong body, so they go have a penis put on, or removed, along with hormone treatments, etc. I dont judge, I love all people. It just seems extreme. If I want boobs, I go buy boobs. But a new gender? Wow.

I agree, Ithink its crazy and ridiculous. People are just too weird.

Interesting topic. I would first off be shocked, i probably would hate that they did that but i would still love them. Im sure my parents hate some of the stuff i do but they still love me!

i love how Dr Phil treated this case, he did it in a completly non-judgemental way. In this particular case I think the father is being insensitive and not trying to educate his children instead he sits there and calls himself the victim. I love how when asked why his daughter can't call him dad he said who would understand and the daughter simply said 'me'

He was so cold and detached, I dont think he wants to be involved, but then why did he go on the show, ya know. How sad.

I give no damn period. My father is the only parent I've ever known, PLUS I have a gay uncle who always wanted to undergom the great operation, so if suddenly either of them was awoman...more power to them! I'm all about happiness whethr it lies within a boob job, a se chage or just being yourself!

this guy was close to his kids also.. but hasnt called them in over a year.. so he has alot of mistakes on his shouldar
