if i find out my daughter is having sex at any age under 30 , i'll be strapping her down. But it's not justconceving a baby that worries me.It's also the STDs that's concerning. I've talked to my 16 yr old SIL and she says, oh, no big deal. I can just go to the clinic and get a pill for most STDs.. all cured! I had to sit her down and show her pics on the internet of STDs that are FOREVER! She didn't believe me!

Sound like they should have smacked her a LONG time ago!! I just don't get these parents that loose control over thier children, My son knows I will BEAT the crap out of him if he ever talked to me like that, he know he will never get to big for me to whoop his ass!! Sounds like they gave up a long time ago.

Wow-her hard headedness is just so indicative of her very low maturity level.I wish more teens would realize that they are not being judged on their age alone,but on how they present themselves-which is often as loud,undereducated ,little would-be princesses who just want their way.That's never cool.

i think her mom's behavior is unacceptable but her father and many other people have tried and tried and tried.
she has a good extended family.
i always thought a 13,14,15 year old's behavior strongly reflected her parent's or caregivers but in this case i don't.
the girl has a hard, hard head and basically does what she wants. i can't tell you how many times she's been reported a runaway...where no one would know where she was for weeks at a time...

regardless somone's rights are infringed upon...I think it's absurdly w5rong to force parents to become grandparents, but ultimately their rigjht to such is lesser to me than forcing a girl onto birth control. For biological reasons alone I am against birth control (for myself!) And i can't iagine forcing ANYONE 15 or 25 to take it!
