Diaper Creme - too many choices! :)

posted 29th Apr
So my mom and I were in target the other day and my mom is one of those antsy moms who loves to just buy anything and everything related to the baby. So we were looking through all of the baby aisles and she asked what type of diaper rash creme I want to use so she could buy me some......and I had never thought about it. We ended up buying the target brand of creamy ointment, just because we randomly picked one, but does anyone have a suggestion of what to buy that has worked well for them......?

Well I don't have my baby yet, but I worked at a daycare in the baby room so used about every kind of diaper rash cream there was. I personally don't like the A&D stuff, I like desitin, but if they have a bad rash that just seems like it won't go away Corona is THE BEST.

Butt Paste or Aveeno. These two are by far the best in my book.

neither of my kids have ever had a diaper rash, but if they even began to look red, I put pure lanolin on their butts..it's used for breastfeeding, but it got rid of the redness.

Palmers Butt Butter is awesome($4.99)!!! I use it as a preventative and it keeps his butt nicely protected again moist diapers. It also smellsgreat and keeps his skin nice and soft!

If by cahnce he does get a bad rash I use Destin Creamy to clear it up or jsut the prescribed meds will do. He really doesn't get diapers rash too much anymore so I use that stuff for a quick fix and it's gone in a day. If you ask your PED for it they have no porblem writing a script...BUT DO NOT USE IT EVERYDAY!!

Destin Creamy works best for my little man and it isn't super hard to get off your fingers while you are finishing changing his clothes!
