I bought some of the Target brand that is supposed to be just like the desitin creamy.....have you tried that? I wonder if it works as well....

That's the kind I bought, too. I have never used it on a baby, but I had a patient's mom bring some in when the patient had diaper rash and didn't want to pay a zillion dollars for what the hospital pharmacy would have charged for desitin. I liked it, it worked on an adult, so I figure it must work on a baby. It is also $1.47 per tube, which is awesome!

I would imagine it would work the same...I just happened to get a ton of the creamy kind at my baby shower! I am sure as the gifts run out, I will switch the store brand. I like the Target brand diapers!

aquaohor hands down- without question but actually plain old vaseline will prevent rashes just as well~!
