just to put your mind at ease wait until after your period is expected and take a test. You can have spotting from changing birth control as well. My OB always told me that you should use another type of protection for at least a month when switching birth control.

It took me a year to get pregnant after having my mirena removed with no other birth control. I did spot after it came out just from the removal. The entire time I had that in I did not have a period and as soon as it came out I started my cycle a week later. I wouldn't think you would ovulate that quickly after having it taken out but that is just my opinion.

Yea. We weren't that cautious (sp?) With a backup method. We had condoms but they didn't get used. And my bf is out of town we hadn't seen each other for about 3 weeks&everytime we do we have sex CONSTANTLY. So it happened about 8 times. And I had my mirena for 6 months. It caused a lot of problems for me. With bleeding really heavily. So I had it removed. I started my bc the next day&then on the following Sunday I bled til Monday then I was done. Then I saw my bf Thursday. And now here I am worrying about it. Thanks ladies.

So I got a period. Kinda. I bled on&off for 3 days. Literally on&off. And I'm still kinda nervous to test because with my second I had a full blown period. And around the 2nd month before my period was due again. I just had a feeling I was preg. So I tested and sure enough I was. I was 9 weeks. So I was still kinda feeling like maybe I am. Is it possible to have a "period" and still be pregnant. . . AGAIN.

yes it is possible. I have had friends who had their period the whole time they were pregnant.
