re: Drug commercials

I've never seen one of these. But that's dumb. What about all of the commercials encouraging prescription drugs? I'd rather my child grow up to smoke weed than abuse prescription drugs.

i have my kids in a lot of activities and sports... and I try to do a lot of family activities with them... so hopefull that will help contribute towards them not doing drugs till older

I think it's good that you being proactive like that. I would never ever blame my parents for me doing drugs but not once did they tell me not to them or anything. I say either get it over with before your 16 or start at 19 when your already graduated and you don't have to worry about it messing up your education haha and generally speaking (not always of course) adults are more likely not to be swayed by peer pressure

LOL....i read to them...Aidan is in sports and Nikole is in academic extracurricular activities.

damon and Gianna have yet to be introduced to these as yet...though damon starts school next year....wait....this year...ugh.

That would be more the reason to show up at Grandma's for lunch..munchies! Pot is so much safer than alcohol. I am so sick of hearing pot is so bad..blah, blah..Yes, so is that greasy cheeseburger your about to eat. These commercials can be a bit ridiculous!

My friend's four year old went to kiss her mom.

She stopped and said EWWWW mommy...your breaff smells like WEED....


Needless to say....we were a bit shocked.

We laugh at pot commercials because they are dumb, but so isn't using drugs. I guess it's just a vicious cycle.

My husband smokes a pipe...like tobacco in a pipe... It was so difficult to explain to my son that his daddy wasnt smoking weed...and then where do you get off explaining to a child that smoking tobacco is ok and weed isnt when you dont feel that way. We just made it simple and didnt bring it up ever again. I'll let him make his own judgements on that one when hes older.
