re: Why is teen pregnancy a current debate in society?

i was a teen mom when i had Leo, and i felt utterly ashamed, but its all good now!, fuck everyone else, i have a beautiful boy!, fair enough he wasnt exactly planned but hes 100% wanted!

there are alot of teens where i live who do get pregnant to bet money from the govenment

and it is very very rare here to go out into town and NOT see a 14 yr old with a baby, you see at least 4 lol

anyway!!!, i dont think its a problem with sex ed, its a problem with girls growing up too quick me thinks

Oh god, I totally agree! "I want a baby cause they're cute!" Well I'm sure you won't think that when you're up to your ears in diapers haha.

I wasnt getting defensive, I was stating my point. Your right, this is a mature discussion and I was putting in my opinion. But here most of you are not putting in the "most" or "some". Your all very right, some teens are trying to get preg. and dont face it as it is... raising another human is going to be the most difficult but rewarding thing a teen like myself can do but some of us CAN do it.

Thank you, most people will look at you and say "your throwing your life away and will never be anything because you got preg." But what those people dont see is its very very possible in the world today to raise your children while getting an education and making something of your life. Its not like you have to chose between one or the other.

i think alot of people say '''you throwing your life away'' because most teens enjoy going out shopping and going to the cinema and bars with fiends and you cant do that with a baby

whereas, i never did that stuff, my friends always came over to our house, so theres no difference to my life but someone else for my friends to talk to hahas
