I'd report it and I'm not big on the reporting for no reason things. However that seems like ample warning signs to warrant a real concern for the safety of that child.

apparently it's always 'oh her diaper rash'. the thing that bothers me the most is the bruising on her legs. because they weren't finger prints they couldn't outright say that she was held down. the acceptable answer for that was the 'swimming legs' she does while in her car seat or high chair. which doesn't make sense to me because i've not seen them again. if it happens all the time wouldn't she have at least light bruising their all the time? I mean these bruises were awful. I was so shocked. 'well no wonder she won't let me change her'. they were deep dark blue/purple. they were new. not old.

Yeah, I'd report that personally. Again, I'm not one to rush to CPS or anything, but that seems like VERY obvious signs of abuse. . .

I'd call. All of that doesn't add up. There is NO reason she should be bleeding, that is not normal AT ALL. At the very least, there is a medical problem and the worst, abuse.

This makes me so sad.

If the social worker at your job is doing nothing, then it's time to report the abuse to the police.

This cannot continue.

thanks ladies. I'll let you know what happens. as far as the bleeding, it's not a lot or anything. just like well kind of like when we first start our period. enough to know we're starting not enough for a thick pad, tampon or a pantyliner even. like 'oh hey there's blood there.'
