Mirena- The pill- Pregnancy?

o I had problems with my mirena. So I had it removed about 2 weeks ago. Now I'm on the pill, Well I went to see my bf this past weekend&we always have sex constantly. And we had condoms. But they didn't get used. So now I'm worried. I should of worried before but it didn't cross my mind and now I am. Have any of you ladies gotten preg as soon as mirena was removed. Or on the pill? It was exactly a week since I started the pill when we had sex. I went to see his this last Thursday and the week before on Thursday I started the pill. 

Please help ladies. I'm a little worried.

The pill isn't 100% effective until after a full cycle.

You're supposed to use a back up method for a month so the pills can enter your system.

I'm nervous of the 'possible' and yes I know we had the back up method just the whole stupid "in the moment" thing we forgot all about them. . . . So does this mean IF I am I won't get a period this month? I spotted like Sunday to Monday after I started the pill.

Yes you have to have been taking the pill for a full months cycle before it is effective.

You're always supposed to use a back up method after switching BC methods or changing pills...I got pregnant with my oldest while on birth control but NOTHING is 100% effective besides abstinence so there is always that chance that you'll get pregnant no matter what.

I'd wait a week or two and take a test.

MY Dr said if I started my birth control immediately after getting my Mirena removed, I should be fine. No need to wait for a full cycle since the hormones are already in your system.

However, if you're having sex, it's always possible to get pregnant. I'd take a test if AF doesn't show.
