shaving a girls head

Does shaving a baby girls head actually make their hair come in thicker? I didn't let my husband do it to our first daughter so now that we're having a second huge says he's shaving her and don't care what i say. I personally think it sounds like a retarded idea but i want other options.

thats a myth. hair doesnt grow 'faster' just cause we cut it off.

not every mexican does it. my SO never suggested that. i have two girls. if he did i would have beat him (neither did my oldest's father)

Would not make the baby's hair thicker!!

The only reason that hair even looks thicker after you shave it is because instead of coming into a pointed tip (idk how else to describe it) the hair has a blunt end, making it look thicker.
