Good morning everyone,

I hope everyone had a great 4th, I am so nervous and excited...I have my NT scan at 10am this morning. For those of you that have had their scans already was it a transabdominal scan and did you have to have a full bladder? My paperwork didn't mention anything about that!!!

I just had mine on Monday.. they did an u/s first... then if all is well they do the bloodwork. My husband and I were nervous and she told me my u/s looked great and if there were any red flags they wouldn't be doing bloodwork, i'd be getting a whole different series of tests. After the bloodwork, I went upstairs to my ob/gyn and she confirmed our u/s looked great and there were no worries. I do have to go back in July to get more bloodwork done.. then they combine both times of getting bloodwork done plus the u/s and give you a "risk" assessment. it's a long process but will make you feel so much better in the end   Goodluck!!

Good morning ladies! I hope you all had a wonderful fourth. I spent mine mostly with with my SOs family. Without him. Anyways It was a good day! Today I go in for an appt at my OB. She is going to give me the next date for my blood work and hopefully another U/S!

Ok ladies I'm trying not to freak out right now but I just went to the bathroom and there was bright red blood in the toilet. I didn't notice till I had already wiped myself front and back so Then i used two separate pieces of toilet paper to wipe one in the front and one for the back and both came out clean. So I'm not sure at this point which end it was coming from???? And I'm 12 weeks today so it seems iffy for me.

Is anyone not having an NT scan? Even with t daughter I just had the genetic loos test around 13-15 weeks and then around 20 weeks they do an anotomy scan and will check for any markers then as well.

Have you called your dr or nurses line? It's weird that you would wipe clean afterwards. Have you had anymore bleeding?

i didnt have one with my son and i didnt have one this pregnancy

The only reason we are is because DH's mom was adopted. As a result, we don't know what genetic history we have from that side. Otherwise we would have skipped it.

im not i will be asking for a us at the end of july putting me at 16 weeks.

I'm still waiting to hear back from them.
