2008 rebate check-I'm Mad,might not get what you are expecti

Well I was thinking we filled married and have a child so I should get $1500. NOT I went to the IRS website and they have a spot were you can calculate how much you will get back using your tax papers and it said I'm only getting $900.So everybody should check it out you might not get what you think you are.I had plans to buy all the baby stuff with that money.

it said im only getting 300 when i checked a few weeks ago..i was mad too!

Yep. I was planning on getting $900.00 back because they said that singles got $600 plus an extra $300 for each child. I did that calculator and it said I'm only getting back $300!!!

Yeah they have said that from the start, UP TO 1200. Depends on how much you make, just be glad its anything

You should know at the end of your taxes. The highest anyone would get is 1200. Why would you think you would get 1500? It goes from 300-1200 depending on your refund and your tax bracket.....

I had heard it was $600 for a single, $1200 for married, and $300 for each dependant child.Maybe you had to pay in a certain amount to get it?

It says up to, which doesn't mean full amount. I'll take any money I can get.
