Should it be? Many have a problem self medicating with it, it does the body nothing but harm and is easily accessible..

And it KILLS millions and millions of people. The number one cause of death is drunk driving. I can't believe marijuana is illegal in comparison to fucking alcohol. How many people die from smoking weed....like really?

In moderation, some types of alcohol are actually beneficial, i.e. red wine. Just because certain people are prone to abuse alcohol & drugs, doesn't necessarily mean that the government should control the consumption of them.

this is OT but on the news a few weeks ago they are saying that there is a smoking gene in ur body and some ones whos parents havent smoked is a smoker i know there are alot of people like that but they are saying there is a smoking gene which is making people addicted and slowly kill them self

Alcohol IS legal!
I do think it should be illegal and anyone who has lived with an alcoholic can back me up 110%. It ruins people, families... DAILY. It's horrible. Why can't marijuana be legal!?
