Porn stars and hookers

so I was wondering why is it more acceptable to be in porn than a prostitute? One is widely illegal *with a few exceptions* and the other makes women rich and famous? I never understood this.

That's one random question that I never thought about. I always called porn stars hookers.

i dunno. i guess the glamourization of hollywood being directly linked to film, maybe...i really have no idea. but very good question!!

I call pornstars whores. Pretty much they are. If you disrespect your own body for money I consider that a whore.

Considering they're both having sex for money they're all hookers in my eyes and neither is better than the other. I think the whole thing with porn being legal is that they are (supposedly) screened for STD's, and taxed on their wages and the hooking thing is a public health problem more than anything.

Porn stars don't have sex for 10 bucks  Plus from what I have seen they are REQUIRED to take std tests like every month. (That may be just certian companies)

porn stars are required to do std testing...and only crackwhores do it for 10 bucks!

Well I live in nevada and we have things called bunny ranchs and it leagel. he he but I think there both disgusting but if that is what the person chooses to do then thats there choice

I personally love porn but would NEVER put a price on my body. Porn is essentially higher paid, cleaner, legal prostitution but they persons having sex with one another are not being paid by one another they are being paid by a director etc for their services and their "talent" therefore it is not considered illegal because they are actresses/actors and the videos always say that all of the entertainers are tested for a bijillion stds and/or use condoms and are demontrating consentual adult sexual acts......My bff is a pornstar, she goes by Felicia fox and has been in several high paid well known videos so I know a lil bit about the biz and I was, until my maternity leave started, a sales associate at a large adult store

They don't get paid to have sex. They get paid to record their sex acts. They consent to have sex, and it's apparently two willing partners, that both get paid to do it on camera. One person isn't paying the other.

Just wanted to add, I see nothing wrong with porn, If you have a smokin hot body and love to have sex, why not get paid for it. IMO. I mean hell we ALL have sex, some just put it out there, more than others.

Yes but we see when prostitution is legal such as the bunny ranch.. they also get screened for STD's and have rules to protect them
