And this is my point exactly: that contract was her choice. It was signed by her and should have been read thoroughly prior to her signing it and if at that time she had an issue with what it entailed then she wouldnt have consented to the terms of that contract at signing-she would have had it edited to how she preferred to work or she wouldve just sucked it up and dealt knowingly with the terms or she wouldve not signed and lost out on that oppertunity-all of which are choices, some not so pretty but choices none the less

True, it just seems from what i've seen 'contract girls' as they are called are seen as higher up in the porn industry, they are guarenteed regular pay which most are not and work very little throught the year *according to Jenna an average porn shoot last 2 days* In one part of Traci Lords book, she talks about how no one would higher her due to the image*yes that she created* but she fell in bad with a certain producer and had to do some fetish modeling she didn't want to. I guess in a way it is seen as being they feel trapped and tricked into thinkingthey must follow the terms of the production company in order to succeed and earn a steady income

Yea, Traci Lords fucked herself and alot of people out of rediculous amounts of money! When it turned up that she was underage and that fact went public -do you know how much money those production companies lost out on by having all of that material pulled from the sheves??? I suggest you all reading a book called 'Underneath it All' by Traci Lords. She was the porn star that did most of her work before the age of 17. You'll get a new perspective of porn stars. I think I cried the entire book.

In Traci Lords case, her step father who sexually abused her forced her into porn. You have to remember that prostitutes and porn stars are people too. Most of them haven't been given the best start in life. Although, most do make their own choices, I bet a lot of them aren't happy.
