I said I wasn't going to co-sleep either, but once I did, it was great!

My son is 2 weeks old and I EBF. We have an extra bed in his nursery that we sleep in because he feeds every 1.5-2 hours. I wake up when he starts rooting/sucking on his hands, get up and change his diaper to wake him up more, pull him in bed with me and laying down side-by-side feed him. He will fall asleep while he nurses and when he's done (he will eat for 10 minutes then fall asleep) I get up and put him back in his crib. To make sure I don't fall asleep while he's eating I set an alarm on my phone on vibrate for 15 minutes after he starts eating and hold onto it.
