If you are "dilating" only your doctor can tell you. If you are in pain, go in to be safe.

It doesn't really matter if you are or not. I was at 4 cm for a while.
All that matters is if you are in active labor

I was half a fingertip dilated at 24 weeks and then at 31 weeks I was at a fingertip. And I keep getting braxton hicks all the time, shouldn't matter as long as your water hasn't broken or your having contractions.

my BH contractions hurt, I even have to breath how they tell you to in labor or I don't get enough oxygen during them, people can also be dilated for weeks

No kidding! I was at 3 for weeks and even in active labor never made it past 6.

Wait til your next appt and tell your doc. It's not too soon to start dilating.

keep your hands out. you don't know what you're feeling for.. you'll only freak yourself out.

Have the doctor check you if you want to know, you can give yourself an infection by checking yourself, please don't try to check yourself again!

honestly.. I dont' worry about the infection. Seriously.. if it's ok to stick a penis up there pregnant.. her own hand isn't going to hurt her.. it's her own body flora.

No i know lol, but i've read that checking your cervix and putting your fingers in your cervix to check for dialation could possibly cause infection, And that IF your going to do it, don't do it too much. When is your next doctors appointment OP?
