I love my hub. When he works night shifts we email back and forth (because he mainly has a desk job) and the last email I sent him told him I wish I had a chocoshake from Burger King because the one he froze for me the other day turned into some sort of scary abomination in the freezer.
So I don't hear from him for a half hour or so, and I hear the lock turn on the door (which, of course, freaked me out initially). He comes in with a Burger King bag in one hand, and a new chocoshake and coke--along with a bouquet of flowers--in the other hand.
When I hugged him I just didn't want to let go. I've been so bitchy this third trimester that it's a little hard for me to believe he still loves me. His supervisor told him he "had time to deliver the food and do that only--no surprise hanky-panky no matter how grateful she is". Hahah.
Excuse me, ladies. I'm off to gorge on some BK.

Aw! Lucky! I've tried to subtly express to my husband how much sweeter flowers are when you get them for no reason, instead of an ?I'm an ass and screwed up so here you go.."....he still hasn't quite grasped the concept! But flowers and a chocolate shake?! That's just not fair! What's your secret to training hubby so well!

Awww...you are lucky. When I was preggo and craving smores my hubby told me to waddle myself to the store and get the stuff!

Very sweet. There's a Greek restaurant here that makes the best pita sandwiches, but they don't deliver. I was complaining on the phone to Jacob about how I wanted one so bad, but didn't feel like getting dressed and going to get one. About thirty minutes later, my doorbell rings, and there was a guy from the restaurant standing there. He'd called and begged them to make a special delivery.
