You can't speak for the whole deaf community when you say that. I have many deaf friends. I worked a camp for disabilities and we had a LOT of deaf campers. And not a one of them complained about not understand counselors who had tongue piercings.

Maybe the people you see with it are just really dumb? Make them learn ASL.

Umm Ive never come across anyone that couldnt speak fine because of a tongue piercing. I have mine and can speak just perfect thanks.
