experimenting with solids

ok munchky will be 4 months next week but last week we started experimenting so far hes had maybe a table spoon of bananas and 1 of carrots he seems to love the bananas ...last night my grandmother made mashed potatoes tho and his father decided to let him taste it ...welllllllllllll he made the funniest face ever and spit it right out ...i told him not to give it to him but men never listen

I know when my daughter started  trying solids, she would recycle the food, I am sure you know that, but I have never seen a baby that didnt like mashed taters....it might have had a lil too much salt or something in it. Another suggestion for you, is when you give your son a food, wait a week before you give him another one so if he has a allergic reaction you know what it is. I think its too cute when babies start eating solids. Good luck with it!!

Oh, wait till you are giving him some baby food, and he starts blowing rasberries at you and making a huge mess...thats always fun!!

we started a little too Richie is 3 1/2 months my dr gave me the go ahead when he was 2 months but we waited..... one thing i totally agree with is that you should start with veggies if you do fruits right away they might get used to the sweet taste and not want anything else   just a suggestion

hes been blowing rasberries for a min ...not only does he get it everywhere but he also tries to suck the food that he spits on his bib back off ...kid is gross lol
