Very much so! Before him, I dated a 23 year old and a 20 year old. They both were scumbags. Couldn't get their lives together and didn't know how to treat a woman. And before them, I dated a man in his later twenties for two years. He had control issues.

My SO and I have a great time together. We're both into cars, 80s music, outdoor activities, etc.

The age of consent in some states is not 16. Like in virginia it's 18 and you HAVE to have parental consent to marry if youre younger. Other then that I'd they we're living in Virginia he could be in jail right now, that is if someone were to report their relationship.

I was told that in the United States recently it's not 18 years old anymore to be legal. At the age 16 they can have consensual sexual intercourse. The marriage thing still applies with having to get permission

if its not true and Virginia it's illegal. Im moving to Virginia

No that's not true at all. It goes by state. Each state has their own set of laws. So in Mississippi the age of consent can be like 14-15 and Virginia 18...
Anything under the age of consent have to get written permission to marry but if there is a sexual relationship and someone reports the offender then they can get arrested jailed and fined.
They don't play around with stuff like that because it's basically pedophilia under their guidelines no matter how much the girl or guy say they wanted to have sex with their partner.

Why?

When I had my first at 17, I was 17 and he was 18. I'm no longer a teen mom, because I'm twenty, but this time my baby daddy is 30. So 10 years difference.

when I got pregnant the first time I was 14 and he was 19.
this time around I was 15 and he is 20. so a 5 year difference.

I was 19 and my (now) husband was 29.
