I'm 16 and my partner is 24 our bday I on the same day   so exactly 8 years apart

Well in Australia you have to be 16 to be legal so I'm legal it's all fine.

Yeah thats what I thought too. In the United States its not that they have to be 18 anymore   

As long as the girl/boy is 16 and has that teenagers consent its legal. I think it's absolutely ridiculous.

Just curious where some of you that are under 20 and have 30 something year old boyfriends, where did you meet them? I don't find anything wrong with it since it is legal, but I just don't undertand how a 19 yr old would come about meeting a 36 yr old man.

Work, actually. I genuinely thought he was about 29/30 years old because he looks younger. But I guess I'm kind of an "old soul" and we get along very well. I've never gotten along with guys my age (yes, I've tried lol).

edit*, I will add though that I even believe our age difference is kinda pushing it. In the end, it's really a matter of how the personalities work out, whether it's 20/22 or 20/52.

Oh that is great! Age is really not a big deal, it all depends on how you two get along. At least he is at a nice mature age. Younger men can be so immature and looking for things you may not.
