IUGR-did you ever get answers?
posted 23rd Apr '12
My son was diagnosed with IUGR at 36 weeks. His slow growth raised eyebrows around 32/33 weeks, and he was delivered at 37 weeks at 4 lbs 2 ounces via c section. They ruled out placenta problems by checking my fluid levels at the heart monitoring appointments, I stopped smoking at 13 weeks, never touched a drug, and as far as I know, I don't have any heart or kidney problems. I want to know why this happened...did anyone get answers?
Also, are c sections almost always necessary with this diagnosis?
