re: Abortion(vent)

Well, gee, don't I feel like smurf for aborting a fetus because he would have had a smurffy life with me as their mother. I guess I shoulda just had the kid, jumped on the welfare bandwage and dropped outta college.... Sigh. I'm such a bad person.

I'm sure that's very heartbreaking for your friend however this woman had no obligation to supply your friend with a child. Pregnancy takes a toll on the body and is a very emotional experience, not to mention the emotional and physical distress of birthing a baby and giving it to someone else. I would absolutely abort before placing a baby up for adoption.

It's none of your smurfing business what another woman does with her body. It's not everyone elses job to become an incubator for your friends hopeful baby. There are plenty of children already in the system that need homes. Oh but smurf them, right? Everyone wants babies.

There are so many couples that would do anything to have the unborn child that women choose to instead abort.

I mean, it's kind of selfish really. Abort a child for your own convenience? If you willingly spread your legs, you should take responsibility for your actions and either raise and love your baby or give her to a good home where she'll be loved and cared for, instead of murdered.

Im very sorry your friend is disappointed, unfortunately it is no ones responsibility to pop out babies out of their vag for those who cannot have children. End of story.

Your friend can always try and foster a child that is already in the system and that needs guidance, love and affection if she really needs a child in her life asap.

seriously. why should she have to stop her life for 9 months and then how ever long it takes long for her to get over the emotions of having placed that child....

okay so the girl had time to think about what was right for HER.

Well its not her job to be an incubator for anyone. Sorry that happened to your friend but at the end of the day it was the pregnant woman's decision. Tell your friend to adopt a baby already in the system if she wants one so bad.
