getting an abortion in a small town?

Well I have three questions...

Why did you have an abortion?
How far along can you be in states like Arizona California and Nevada?
And how does one get an abortion if they're in the middle of nowhere?

I'm from Needles California... I can't find a clinic nearby that's my biggest issue with getting an abortion that along with school schedule. Along with I do have feelings in that like I wanted it but more I think it's not what I want if I'll end up miserable... I still can't believe I'm 14 weeks I am not showing...

I'm not sure about where you are, but here you can get one up till 20 weeks.
You only need one whole day to do it, then after you can't lift heavy objects for about a week. I got one done in an abortion clinic. You can google one that may be close to you.

Unfourtunatly for you most local clinics will not do abortions after 13 weeks. There are some that will do them up to 20 weeks i would seek the closest one in your area and ask them.

I've never had one myself but have you checked the Bullhead City area or Kingman?


eta: I tried looking but all that was popping up on searches was ones in Vegas.

here are none in the area it seems no abortion clinics period. The only one is like 4 hours away. I have to go to school everyday without my parents noticing my absence it would be hard as they have tighter rules now that I've gotten pregnant. I'd get there by 7 when it's closed.

Nevada has a lot of resources for you.

Chico has a clinic...( I know it's a fair distance) the Feminist women's health clinic? i think it was called. They'll do abortions up to 24 weeks i think.


Planned parenthood in EITHER LV NV or CA will do them at minimum to 20 weeks.

Here is the number for Planned Parenthood in Vegas. 702.547.9888. They don't do the abortions there, but it says to call and they can help you find a clinic. They might be able to find one closer to you.

Have you talked with your parents about this? if they know you are pregnant then, hopefully would be supportive of your decision for your life.

Its not and easy decision to make even when your mind is made up its hard to follow through, i thought i was against it as well until i had to come to the decision, and actually i have had 3 all for different reasons. they are going to find out that you did it one way or another especially when you belly doesn't grow. its best to make them or try to make them understand that this is your life and the decision is ultimatly yours.

I can say I miscarried...

I know people who have this issue, I live two hours away from the closest abortion clinic, people have issues getting a ride there, are your parents pro-life? if you can find a ride you could skip school for the day.

I have considered that too. It's just how long would the process take. Wait I'll look it up...
