I sooo want my belly button pierced but I have seen a lot of people get scars after they take them out whether they took it out because of a pregnancy or not. And all though that piercing would be super deadly to have now I know some day in my life I am going to want to take it out and I really dont want to have a scar there...I didnt get any stretch marks while pregnant so I would like to keep my tummy as scar free as possible now lol. Anyways I was just wandering about that, thats all  

i had one before pregnancy no1 and it scared really bad and then my stupid ass did it again and now im pregnant again that one is scaring really bad too....

i have a belly button ring and ot a spesal maternity ring to where while prego but what do yiou meana scarring like if you took it out for good?

anytime you put a hole in your body, it's going to leave a scar. if you're that worried about a little scar, then don't do it. besides that...belly button piercing is pretty much painless, the worst part is the forceps, but it takes the longest time of any of the piercings to heal.

I had it took mine out before I was preg. The scarring is gross now. and its about an inch above my belly button because of how much my tum has stretched now lol.

I had mine pierced before I got pregnant and I have a stretch mark "scar". I don't have any other stretch marks except the belly button one. It's pretty ugly but it goes away slightly after my belly gets back to normal size.

I ended up having to take mine out 3 weeks before I had my daughter, I'm left with a scar from it.....it's very obvious that I USED to have my belly button pierced.

I had mine pierced all throughout my pregnancy and I never got a scar, I was acutally quite amazed!

I took mine out at 8 weeks so i wouldnt have to have the shock of it later, or it ripping...

and I'm 21 weeks...I've taken it out for months at a time before and It just doesn't close up..lol My sister has had hers out for two years and its still partially open, and its just a little circle above her belly button

yea if you took it out for good, or even just took it out cuz of pregnancy...not that im worried about being pregnant again anytime soon....i just dont want a scar

but there biiiiig scars lol...im just wondering if there is anyway to not get it..or to get lucky and not get it. I had my eyebrow and nose pieced adn took those out a while ago and they didnt scar but i just want to know in advnaced how many people got scars, didnt get scars just because i am..a freak? lol i dunno im jw

with pregnancy yes, it totally did!! And i didnt even keep it in while i was pregnant after i started showing a tiny bit but it still stretched all the hell, i mean, i my belly still looks great with jewelry in it and when im not pregnant lol...
