I was wondering how long after a D&C do you usually get your first period?

Depending on when it was during your cycle it should return within the next two months. Sorry to hear about your loss.

It can take as long as six weeks. Sometimes your body skips a cycle in order to put itself back ontrack.It's still confused about whether it's pregnant or not. It'll figure it out though, and you'll get one.

If you're TTCing, it's best to wait 2-3 normal periods before trying again. That way your doctor is able to accurately pinpoint your due date, and your body has had time to heal from the invasive procedure.

I am 10 weeks post MC ( had a D&C Feb 19th) and am still waiting for my period. I will be seeing a Doc this week to try and find out WHY?!
