Angel babies

I wouldn't.

I do not but also don't consider my miscarriages angel babies. It's just not my thing.

I don't but I might think differently if it had been for a wanted pregnancy. A friend had one because the fetus was diagnosed with tay-sachs and she considers hers an angel baby.

I only consider one of my miscarriages an angel baby. It's the only one I was far enough along to be invested in.

I normally equate angel babies with miscarriages. But at the same time, I feel like I do have an angel baby, even though he/she was intentionally taken away from me.

Miscarriage is the spontaneous loss of a fetus. Abortion is not spontaneous, it's planned. Big difference.

The medical term is "spontaneous abortion" though. That's what was on my hospital paperwork. There's no point in getting offended over medical terminology.

it is still considered a abortion.. but its medically called a miscarriage.. and no its both the same either way both are getting rid of the fetus. one is wanted the other isnt wanted.

I'm not offended. I just disagree...I don't view miscarriages and abortions as the same. One is intentional, one is not. Which is why I asked my original question.

i'm sorry, but If you believe in angels and you have a dead child, regardless of the reasoning. Why is it that bad to consider your child an angel baby? Also, what's it to anyone else what another person does to honor the dead???

I never said it was bad...

I also was not questioning what other people do to honor the dead. I was simply asking if other moms who have had an abortion consider those losses to be angel babies.
