only 1 preemie?

Okay Ladies, I had my son at 35 weeks. He was 3 lbs. I am currently 9 weeks pregnant now with baby # 2 , My question is did you have a preemie the 2nd time around as well, or did you get to go full term with a normal size baby.

My second was the preemie but I had preterm labor with both children. I would imagine that if they weren't able to stop the preterm labor with my first child she would have been my first preemie at 30wks. My son was also born at 35wks but much bigger. In his case they had to induce labor because my water had broken.

I had a 36 weeker, she was my 2nd baby... my 3rd went to day before his due date

Well I didn't go through this but my mom did. I was born at 32 weeks 4 lbs and then my mom had my sister who was 39 weeks and 7 lbs and my brother was a c-section at 38 weeks due to health issues and he was 7 1/2 lbs. So I was the only problem child. Lol.

My first was born at 36 weeks and 6 days (technically a premie) and my daughter was born at 34 weeks and 6 days. I had pre-e with my son and a placental abruption and pre-e with my daughter, as well.

Thank Ladies. I just want to go full term this time , . With my last pregnancy I had low fluid, gestational diabetes, severe IUGR, High blood pressure, 2 vessel umbilical cord. That's why I had to have an emergency c-section. All those problems added together it just wasn't safe for the baby anymore. I REALLY want for this pregnancy to be normal and full term.

My 2nd daughter was 35 weeks 6 days and they considered her "technically" preemie. She weighed 6 lbs 7 oz. My youngest daughter was 33 weeks 6 days. She weighed 4 lbs 15.6 oz. This one is already preparing to come and I am only 28 weeks.

Oh wow, she was big ! Well My son was just really small lol. he was 3lbs 5 oz. Good luck mama !

She was thick. Still is! She is in the 75% for weight but only the 10% for her height. She is 2 now. This baby will be small. He has a rare disorder. When I went to the specialist on March 27th he only weighed 1lb 2oz and should have weighed almost 2.5lbs. Thanks! Same to you.

My mom had 3 kids prior to me, and then I was the only preemie 4 lbs 3 oz in 1985 and she had another full term pregnancy.

My son's length is between percentile 75 - 90 and his weight is below percentile 5 lol. He's 32 inch long and 18.5 lbs.

I personally didn't go through this but my mom did.
She had four kids, first was born at 35, second 36, third 36 and the last on was 37.
Her first son was born with one lung and his two of his fingers were stuck together.

my sister had 3 preemies. I hate to say it but her first was 34 weeks her second 33 weeks and her third 27 weeks. The first 2 had a steroid shot so they are healthy now but my niece is still in the hospital she is a little under 4 lbs now but she is getting there.

My third baby was a 27-weeker, and I went on to have a full-term baby this last time. I was definitely considered high-risk, and I got weekly progesterone shots starting at 16 weeks until 35 weeks to help keep me pregnant. I had weekly non-stress tests starting at 28 weeks and weekly biophysical profiles starting at 32 weeks. I delivered my son at 39 weeks, 1 day in January. There is hope, you just need to make sure you are seeing an OB who handles high-risk pregnancies. Good luck mamma!

First was a 30 weeker second was a 28 weeker, I'm so scared to ever get pregnant again.
