Teen mommies

Im not new to this site but since i joined i know theres probably alot more people that have been added to the site. I just wanted to reintroduce myself for all the new moms. I found out i was pregnant in OcTober of 2011 , i was so scared an terrified that everyone would be dissappointed in me and disown me because of only being 16. This pregnancy was not planned at all but i dont believe in abortions so i made the choice to suck it up and raise my little one. Im one of the lucky teen moms 2 be that the babyfather ( my boyfriend) is still with me. One January 31st we found out our little one is indeed a babygirl. That was probably the happiest day so far for the both of us. Im currently in week 33 of my pregnancy and even though she isnt here yet i couldnt imagine my life without her. If it wouldnt have been for my boyfriend and family i would probably be a emotional wreck. I strongly believe that every teen mom 2 be should have someone in there life even if its just to talk to someone. So if any of you are reading this and you need advice or just to talk please feel free to message me i will do the best i can to help

Can you really help people since you're still pregnant?

You are still pregnant. You don't even know what is to come after the baby is born.

I can be there for them if they need someone to talk to

I am 17 and found out October 13, 2011. I am also still with my baby's father and we have been together for 2 and a half years. I found out January 19, 2012 that we are going to have a baby girl. I am in my 32nd week of pregnancy, due June 15th.

I am also very fortunate because my family is very supportive without them I would be lost like every other teen. I am a senior in HS and I am on track to graduate. I have been taking dual enrollment classes at the college so at the end of this semester I will have 18 credit hours and I plan to be a part time student in the fall.

Im a teen mom too, I had just turned 17 when i found out. I had my little man 9-10-11. a month before turning 18.. Hes now 7 months old. It has been the best 7 months of my life. Im lucky to also have his father in my life too, We got married 3-13-11 a few months after we found out i was pregnant. To you teen moms who are pregnant, really.. its not as hard as it seems or as hard as EVERY one else tells you its going to be. as long as you have enough income, or support and stay out of your child hood trouble... you will do fine! it gets pretty stressful but thats what being a mom is all about. the milestones you see your child one reach, will be well worth the stress!

I agree... It is going to be difficult even with family members because I do not expect them to watch my child 24/7 while I go be a teen. This is my baby not theirs.

I still have to figure out how I am going to set up my fall semester classes so I am meeting with a counselor at the college

Im not. and its not. if you dont have income, cant find a job or arnt good with kids. then yes its hard. My son is 7 months old, I havnt seen anything hard about taking care of him.. he sleeps, eats and you change their diapers, bathe and play with them. When he was a newborn it was even easier. so idk what your problems are for you to be having trouble raising a baby, but i know i havnt had any problems. besides there is no wrong in staying positive now is there? you dont know me, so i would think twice before telling me im wrong. If it was so hard, i wouldnt be having a second one.

lol. having you family pay for everything makes it easy, yes. I didn't have that.

Keep your head up, I though it was going to be too. You wanting to be a teen will blow over and wont matter to you as much once you have the little one, school is still possible i have many friends with newborns that are still going to school. they have lots of help out there. i dropped out of high school before i found out, but i still managed to get my GED and start college. the first week there will be alot of adjusting and you may need help at first. but you'll be pro in no time and just get usto the hours your baby is on. enjoy the beggining while it last before they start getting into everything(:

FYI i dont have my family helping me. I live on my own with my husband and little one. once again you dont know me- so i wouldnt talk smurf about things you dont know. obviously YOU still have some maturing to do that you havnt done already. Be an ADULT and stop trying to start high school drama that you apparently miss so much and stick to learning how to be a mature, responsible mom.
