happy & confused !

i had my daughter ! she ws born monday thaa 2 at 3:36am !! bt i ws upset cuz her dad couldnt be there to see her being born ): he is in jail ! & im scared cuz we have uh age difference, im 17 goin to be 18 in oct, & he js turn 24 ! my parents are alright with it, bt it js worries me tht someone will say something & i dont want to lose him & my lil family i have now (:
i js need some advice ! im feeling confused about whats all going on !! im also feeling happy cuz my baby is finally here !!

Did anyone say anything before u had the baby? That's not a huge age difference. Only thing i would be concerned about is the whole jail issue, what kind of thing is he into?

How long before he can meet the baby?

My childs father is 5 years older than me, and i was 17 when i had my baby so i know what you mean but no one has ever said anything to me. As long as your family and friends are there for you

lol.. the "only thing" you'd be concerned about is the fact that it's statatory rape and he could end up in prison.

This, plus did the hospital staff know? When I gave birth there was a young girl in the room next to mine. On my second day there, like four cops came to arrest the girl's baby father. Turns out she was 16, father was 23. A hospital nurse had called the cops on him.

Its legal. well im sure depending on states but i know here in fl the age is 16-24. and you cant get in trouble.(parents could press charges if they know your having sex) but its legal if parents are cool with the age difference. I was 17 and my babys dad (which is now my husband) was 21. I wouldnt stress it. once you turn 18 you have nothing to worry about and if your almost 18, they prob. wont even bother.
