LOL! Gah. I'm going through all the comments on here and then I see hers and busted out laughing!

Deborah, that has absolutely nothing to do with the question she asked.

I'm reading this thread and then scrolled to this, I actually giggled haha WTH? OP tht sounds horrible, I have no advice but my DH has cut ones open on himself in the past to let the hairs out (ick!) definitely talk to your dr before you pick too much at it! Good luck momma!

I just went through the same thing. I had to have it drained, then after antibiotics it came back. I live in Hawaii and my doctor said for some reason when it gets hotter you are more likely to have ingrown hairs that turn into boils. Just try washing with Dial around that area to reduce bacteria that can cause inflammation but I am not going to stop shaving...lol. My OB said it can't hurt the baby but there isn't a way to really stop it from happening except to stop shaving while pregnant. I told her I will shave as long as i can see over my belly...

Try shaving WITH the way your hairs grow on your lady parts.

I heard it significantly reduces the chance of an ingrown hair lol

You can try electrolysis... It kills the follicle so the hair won't grow back and viola! No more ingrown hairs!. I highly doubt it can in anyway affect you pregnancy babe   I told u earlier no stress mamma lol

Youuuu nassssty. LOL

Actually, before I went to bed last night I rewet the rag 3xs & put a smurf ton of cream on it. I woke up this morning to pee & there was HUGE nasty puss/blood spot on my underwear. So I got out the rag & kept doing it. It's about 50% better... hopefully will be completely gone by like tomorrow or Tuesday lol NASSSTTTYYYY.

I suffer with ingrown hairs since I stopped waxing. The best thing to prevent them is exfoliating with a water based ( not oil based) scrub. The best 1s out there are St Tropez or Origins. Exfoliate your problem areas before and after you shave, I'm an Esthetician btw. Prevention!
