I would just like to say to all you teen moms that you are all strong and honorable individuals!!! Im 24 now and pregnant again... but my first son was born when i was 17 years old... I know its hard and i know people dont always make life easy but I want you to know that you are wonder people in my eyes!!!
You are all stronger than you think and you can do it!!!

Success is not givin to you... It is something you work on! We cant have success unless we have struggle and challenges!!!

When you look back at yourself when you hit 20 years old and you took the challenges and struggles of being a teenage parent and growing up, you will know in your heart and to every person that ever judged you that you have succeed in the most challenging job you will ever face being a wonderful MOM!! I wish you all the best and I hope that you ladies all take your struggles and turn them into knowledge!!!

Congratulations and Good Luck in you wonderous endeavors!!!

You know a grown woman can go through all the same struggles as a teen? What's the difference? Age and age only.

I think all mothers are faced with the same struggles. How is me being a young mother and in college any different from a 16 or 17 year old that is a mother and goes to high school? We both have classes to attend, homework to get done, and other smurf to do all while taking care of our kids. It's called responsibility. Everybody comes to terms with it once they become parents.

It's okay! But it is true. Mothers in general all have struggles. I don't get why people think teen moms have it so much harder.

Have any of you ever been a teen mother? Probably not... You think its so easy to be a mom when your still learning about who you are and what you want? Yes there is struggles as an adult but being a teen mom there struggles in a different way... Im pregnant now and Im 24 and yes it is hard but nothing compare to all the bullsmurf i had to put up with when i was in high school!!! So all you people that are so hateful appartly you have no idea what a lot of these girls go through!!! They made their choice to have babies young and maybe to you this isnt honorable but I do! But when you dont have any body or anything with a life that you know nothing about exept for what your parents taught you its alot different than being an adult knowing what you are facing with life!!! So to all the synical remarks i hope you find the innorance and sacracism is a lot different then experience and knowledge!

lol. Funny that you think there aren't any teen mothers here.
I got pregnant at 16 again at 19. So yeah, you can shut up because you obviously have no idea what you're talking about.
There aren't less struggles as a 20 year old. I know it because I lived it.

To me it seems like your a little angery with me because Im being encouraging to young mothers and thats ok. So all you young mothers i wish you all the best!

Telling someone to shut up is not something you tell someone when you think their confused.... lol...I might be confused in your eyes but not in mine! I thank you for enlightening me with your perspective on being a teen mom.... When i speak a conference next week i will try not to judge all teen mothers on just my experience!! It just makes me realize that everybody is different and deal with challenges in different ways!

Hey man, you were the one saying 20 is so much better.
And yeah, I think you may be a tad confused. Maybe read up a bit before you "speak" at your interesting conference.

LOL. Dear, I'm 20, and I STILL don't know what I want out of life. I've changed my major in college not once, not twice, but THREE times so far. And honestly, it'll probably change once or twice more before I'm through with it all. I know nothing more about life than what my parents taught me, but thankfully, I was brought up pretty good. My family didn't start to fall apart until after I made my own. Now my parents are divorced and my younger siblings get to see a whole side of life that I never got to see growing up, but none of that happened until I was moved out of the house and pregnant already. My mom was 15 when she got pregnant with her first, 17 when she got pregnant with her 2nd, and 20 when she got pregnant with her 3rd, which was me. And she continued to have kids until 2 years ago when she gave birth to my beautiful little sister. She has had 10 children, and even she will admit that it's JUST as tough to be a teen mom as it is to be a mother in general. The only thing different is back then, parents could FORCE you to get married, which hers did. Now, nothing can really be forced. So you guys are lucky.
