Actually you are incorrect. They will only induce or "cut the baby out of you" if it's to a life threatening point for you or the fetus OR if you are already TERM (37-42 weeks NOT 33) They will TRY to keep the fetus in as long as possible and just because you have high blood pressure does NOT mean you have preeclampsia, they are two different things. I was induced due to preeclampsia at 37 weeks and 3 days with my first child due to preeclampsia and I had high blood pressure towards the 34th week until the 38th week when I delivered naturally with my second, they did NOT take her or really get a need for concern because it didn't develop into preeclampsia. I have gestational diabetes with this pregnancy and feel like absolute smurf most days and I'm a bit dilated and effaced at almost 34 weeks and I DO NOT want to be anymore dilated or her to come anytime soon. You're a selfish ass!

trust me, the longer they stay in the better. your not an idiot for wanting your body back and to not be uncomfertable anymore, the only way i would call you an idiot, is if you were actually trying to go into preterm labor. Any woman can tell you how uncomfertable being 33 weeks pregnant is. just hang in there. you only have a short time left. even though it may seem like forever!

have news for all of you they will give her a c section at 33 weeks a friend of mine just had one at 34 weeks and no they didn't keep her in the hospital before the appointment.. do I think it's something to hope for... No but it could happen! High BP is a very serious matter.. Hopefully your negative comments have not caused more stress to this pregnancy does it make you feel better to be right out and out rude to a stranger...   If so then good for you!!

they hospital would have kept you on bedrest IN the hospital, monitoring your bp & trying to control it as long as possible, along with giving you steriod shots for baby's lungs, IF they really felt that your bp was that bad. they would hold off on the actual csec until it became to dangerous to not do it, like life threatening.

my son was born at 34w5d[and am battling PTL again, but luckily am almost to the "safe" zone now]. he had to stay 2.5 weeks in NICU. however every extra day helps at that point, and 33w1d could mean at least a month in NICU. and you're FREAKING crazy for wanting to have your child that early, very selfish. it's VERY hard watching your child struggle to thrive hooked up to a bunch of machines, at least if you have a heart it is.

i hope for your childs sake you're not progressing yet.

Yeh, maybe she's just excited for her baby to be hooked up to a bunch of machines for a few weeks or a few months. Who could blame her, right?
