Its Ovulation day!! 1st month of TTC for baby #2

Well, I had some severe ovulation cramping since yesterday, today was the worst. It lasted all day long, but it just subsided about 2 hours ago. Me and my SO did the horizontal mambo last night   hopefully we will get pregnant on our first try!! hoping and praying for a little boy but the odds are looking against us. He has 2 girls from a previous relationship, and I have a little girl from a previous relationship. We are ready for our little boy!! But we will be completely satisfied with a baby girl either way. Cross your fingers for us!!
Oh, and does anyone know why the cramping stops? Does that mean the egg has been completely released or its been fertilized or anything like that? Anyone?

I just ovulated too , a day or so ago.. we can be testing buddies and I had cramps badly! I got my first poitive OPK on 9 and yesterday.. i didnt test today.. but this waiting game is killing me..we can be testing buddies..
Lots of baby dust! were hopeing for a boy 2, we have 3 girls already lol!
